Set up Rule Guard
Attach a prop-firm challenge, and the guard watches your limits live — a 70/85/95 ladder, trailing drawdown done the way your firm does it, quiet hours, and honest alerts.

Rule Guard converts your prop-firm rules into a live limit watcher. Attach the account, pick the firm preset and challenge size, and every tick is checked against the daily-loss and drawdown limits — with an escalation ladder that tells you where you stand long before a breach is anywhere near. The engine, ladder and breach log are free; delivery channels and history are Pro.
Step 1 — attach a challenge
Prop rules → attach an account, choose the firm preset (FTMO, Apex, Topstep or custom) and enter the challenge size. Limits derive from your numbers, not generic presets: a $25K account gets $1,500-style daily limits computed from the firm's actual percentages.
Step 2 — read the ladder
70% of a limit is an early heads-up, 85% is serious, 95% is hard-breach risk. Every hit lands in the in-app breach log with the rule, level and numbers. The ladder reduces breach risk; it never prevents one — sizing and flatten decisions stay yours.
Step 3 — trailing, done the firm's way
Firms differ on drawdown mechanics: end-of-day trailing versus intraday trailing changes everything. The guard implements the preset's actual mechanism, moves the high-water mark only where the firm moves it, and shows your remaining buffer to the dollar in the live panel.
Step 4 — delivery channels (Pro)
Email on every hit, plus Telegram if you linked the bot. Quiet hours hold the 70/85 notifications — a 95 hard-breach risk always delivers. Every attempt is recorded: sent or failed, retried once, visible in the delivery ledger.
Reading the breach log
The 90-day history shows every fired level with its rule, message, timestamp and the channels that actually received it. The log is the memory of the guard — it starts recording at attach time and carries across redeploys.
Auto-stop
The auto-stop preference is advisory: it suggests a size cap consistent with your remaining limit and shows what would happen at execution. Sizing decisions stay yours — always. That is the honest boundary of what a watcher should do.
The 90-day alert history and delivery channels are the Pro surface. The engine, ladder and breach log are free forever.
